The Sword of the Spirit

The-Sword-of-Spirit

By :Eric Turner

As we battle against the falsities of this World, Satan and his lies, his ministering agents who are in appearance ministers of righteousness, and the doctrines of demons that plague the body of Messiah, we often run into those who claim we have no understanding, “ignorant Judaizers” who only wish to preach legalism and judgment. We have always been taught that correcting, rebuking, and challenging the doctrines of these False Prophets and Ministers of Satan is not what Messiah would do, and this is not an act of love. Today, what I will do is slay these Spirits with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of YHVH(God). Paul tells us in Ephesians to take up Arms against these deceptive men, using the lies of Satan to deceive and divide the Body of Yeshua/Jesus.

Eph 6:10  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14  Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15  and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17  and take the helmet of salvation, and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD.

Many times in scripture we see this concept, of the weaponry of Heaven being the Word of YHVH. The very utterances or oracles of YHVH have the power to kill, or to heal, to bless, or to curse, and unfortunately, at times we must use the Word of Truth as a sword, to slay every lie, every deception, every twisted interpretation, or attempt to take the Word of YHVH out of context to prove lawlessness. It is not a job anyone wants, nor is it a job anyone runs into, it is a job that is burdensome, and gets you falsely accused, and in many cases, divides you from even Family and close friends. It is not something one desires to have in their life to be called many names, and to be accused of leading people astray. This job is not for the faint of heart, but in any case, it is more necessary than anything we could emagine, because if Satan goes unchecked, or is allowed to attack viciously with no defense made, it could cost people their eternal Salvation, and this is more important than any other thing under the Heavens.

What I will do, is demonstrate how we use the Sword of the Spirit in real life Spiritual Warfare. The hardest thing about fighting this war, is not many people even understand it is being waged. Most people, including many Christians and Jews, do not believe Satan is attacking us at every hour of every day and using those we most trust to attack. Noone knows the difference in friend of foe in this war because they refuse to read the instructions given by our Father on how to walk in this Evil World, so they fall prey to the Wolves and never know it due to lack of knowledge.

Hos 4:6  My people are destroyed for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

We do not use Physical weaponry in this war, we use Spiritual Weaponry, and the Armory of Heaven is at our fingertips, but we simply do not know how to use the weapons we have. We have always been shunned for rebuking and correcting, especially if it is an Elder or Pastor that is reciving the corrections, but this is NOT Biblical. It is not an act of hate or malicious intent to rebuke and correct anyone, it is an act of hate NOT TO. Many misunderstand the difference between rebuke and judgment.

Lev 19:17  “You shall NOT HATE your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. 18  You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

For more info on the correct definitions of rebuke and judgment see our Teaching “Ever been accused of judging a Brother”?

We see all throughout the scriptures of YHVH’s Priests and Prophets slaying their own neighbours with the sword because of their lack of obedience, and wilfull rebellion against YHVH and His Torah/Law. YHVH is love, and YHVH is the one who instructed the Priests and Prophets to slay their own Brothers in judgment. To say this was an act of hate would be to accuse YHVH of hating His own people, and we know he does not hate his own people. It is Sin that YHVH hates, and it is not YHVH who caused these men to be slain, they CHOSE their own fate, because they CHOSE not to hearken unto YHVH’s Voice, commandments, statutes, and laws. It is WE who choose if we will be slain or not, this is free will, true freedom. If you CHOOSE to disobey, you cannot plead argument against anyone when you become slain, whether in word, or in the Physical flesh.

Deu 11:26  “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: 27  the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, 28  and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way that I am commanding you today, to go after other gods that you have not known.

Deu 30:15  “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil. 16  If you obey the commandments of the LORD your God that I command you today, by loving the LORD your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. 17  But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, 18  I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess. 19  I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that you and your offspring may live, 20  loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

Some of the instances where we see YHVH command that Israelites be put to death or slain for disobedience can be found many places in scripture, INCLUDING the New Testament.

Act 5:1  But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2  and with his wife’s knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3  But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4  While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” 5  When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it. 6  The young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him. 7  After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8  And Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” And she said, “Yes, for so much.” 9  But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10  Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11  And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things. 12  Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico. 13  None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. 14  And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.

We see here that a simple little lie caused Ananias and Saphira to be put to death. This was done to be an example, and what does it say the outcome of this judgment was? “Acts 5:11  And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things. 12  Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico. 13  None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. 14  And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.” So we see here that the outcome of this was that great fear fell upon those who witnessed it, and MANY were converted. Two People died because they sinned against YHVH, but from that, MANY were converted. There are other scriptures that testify that the Sword will be used by Priests against their own Brothers for disobedience. After the Golden Calf incident, 3000 were slain by their own Brothers for the sin of Idolotry.

Exo 32:25  And when Moses saw that the people had broken loose (for Aaron had let them break loose, to the derision of their enemies), 26  then Moses stood in the gate of the camp and said, “Who is on the LORD’s side? Come to me.” And all the sons of Levi gathered around him. 27  And he said to them, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel, ‘Put your sword on your side each of you, and go to and fro from gate to gate throughout the camp, and each of you kill his brother and his companion and his neighbor.'” 28  And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And that day about three thousand men of the people fell.

This is alluded to by the Messiah as well. He himself states,

Mat 10:34  “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35  For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36  And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. 37  Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38  And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39  Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 40  “Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. 41  The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42  And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”

So, for them who believe that the Messiah does not approve of the correcting, rebuking, and judgment of His people, I assure you, if it is done in a just and righteous manner, no matter how it may look to the people around them, He most certainly does approve, and it is the will of YHVH that all of His enemies be exposed and silenced. Am I saying we should take up arms and start killing people, by no means! As stated, the weapons of our Warfare are not physical, but Spiritual.

2Co 10:4  For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5  We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to OBEY Christ, 6  being ready to punish every DISOBEDIENCE, when your OBEDIENCE is complete.

Wow, that was Paul speaking. What “obedience” is he talking about? Most people try their hardest to pit the Father’s instructions against the Son’s instructions. We will test this by an argument that is often made by the False Prophets and Ministers of Lawlessness we call Pastors these days. So many Churches teach Salvation by Grace, and completely ignore works, as if they are not important. Many even go as far to say that the works spoken of in Moses are death, sin, deceiving, doctrine of demons, burdensome, etc. etc. What we will do now is show this argument they use, and the example of how to use the Word as a Sword, to slay every false deception and doctrine of men, demons, and Satan in order to establish exactly what Paul was saying when he said use the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We are NOT teaching Salvation by works, but we do teach that AFTER Salvation, works are required, and that as James says, “Faith without works is dead”. This is the bases of the argument, I often quote James in His writings where he says Faith without works is dead, and the accusation I get that these “works” James is speaking of is not Moses, but the Messiah’s works, as if the Messiah would have a doctrine contrary to His father. This is a real life conversation I am about to share, and the reply, in order to show you how to use the Word as a Sword, to slay every opinion, deception, and false accusation and misinterpretation that men will use to promote lawlessness. First, let us quote James on the topic. We will quote the entire Chapter in its context.

Jas 2:1  My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. 2  For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, 3  and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” 4  have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? 5  Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? 6  But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court? 7  Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called? 8  If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well. 9  But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10  For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. 11  For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12  So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. 13  For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. 14  What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15  If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16  and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? 17  So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18  But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19  You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe–and shudder! 20  Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? 21  Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22  You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23  and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”–and he was called a friend of God. 24  You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25  And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 26  For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

I quoted this to a person, and for the sake of not humiliating them, we will keep the person’s name unknown. In the context of the conversation, I was trying to show this person that the laws of Moses are quite still in effect, and they were trying to prove they are not. This is the reply I got after quoting James.

-“What are those Good works? See the law  of Moses was the Old Covenant and Jesus is the New Covenant. By saying now we have to go back and follow the Torah is saying Jesus did not finish what He came out here too do. He Keep the Old Covenant until death and when He rose from the grave we came into a New Covenant.”

See our Teachings, “The Law of God vs. Th Law of Moses” and “Giver of the Torah”.

When I saw this, I picked up my  Sword(Bible) and started wielding it against this lie. Here is the  actual reply.

sword of the spirit“Those good works are clothing the needy, feeding the poor, and healing the sick, binding up the broken, and taking care of widows and orphans, all Commandments in Moses. James also says do not be impartial in judgment, this also, commandments directly from Moses.

Exo 22:25 “If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him. :26 If ever you take your neighbor’s cloak in pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down, 27 for that is his only covering, and it is his cloak for his body; in what else shall he sleep? And if he cries to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

Exo 23:10 “For six years you shall sow your land and gather in its yield, 11 but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the beasts of the field may eat. You shall do likewise with your vineyard, and with your olive orchard.

Lev 19:10 And you shall not strip your vineyard bare, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the LORD your God.

Exo 23:2 You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice, 3 nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit.

Exo 30:15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when you give the LORD’s offering to make atonement for your lives.

Exo 22:22 You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. 23 If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry, 24 and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.

Deu 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe. 18 He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. 19 Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

Like I said, ALL the New Testament “works” are found in the Torah/Law, but since you all think the Torah/Law is simply a set of do’s and don’ts and death sentences, you do not even recognize James is teaching these good works directly from Moses. These are all commands from the “perfect law of freedom” James was speaking about, that you all call burdensome, a curse, death, and sin.

Isa 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!

Jacob(James) was called “Yacov the Just” for a reason, he taught JUST LAWS.

Deu 4:5 See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. 6 Keep them and do them, for that will be your WISDOM and your UNDERSTANDING in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a WISE and UNDERSTANDING people.’ 7 For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the LORD our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? 8 And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules SO RIGHTEOUS as all this law that I set before you today? 9 “Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children’s children– 10 how on the day that you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, the LORD said to me, ‘Gather the people to me, that I may let them hear my words, so that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children so.’

The reason the laws were to be observed was not for Salvation, but so that the name of YHVH would be exalted among the Nations, and understood as a Righteous and Just God. This is what was meant when Yeshua spoke the Parable,

Mat 5:14 “You are the LIGHT of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your LIGHT shine before others, so that they may see your GOOD WORKS and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

A Parable must be interpreted, and there must be a key to explain it. We have an entire Book in the Bible designed to INTERPRET parables.

Pro 1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; 2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6 To understand a proverb, and the INTERPRETATION; the words of the wise, and their DARK SAYINGS(Parables).

The “light” Yeshua wants us to let shine before men in this parable is the law.

Pro 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the LAW IS LIGHT; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

So, when Yeshua said let your light shine before men so they may see your GOOD WORKS and Glorify the Father in Heaven he was repeating the verses in Deuteronomy.

Deut 4:5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. 6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. 7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? 8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should BE CONVERTED, and I should heal them.

This says that they need be CONVERTED in order to be healed. Where was he getting this from? We know he did not speak His own words.

Joh 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

So, what is it these people who were hard of hearing and dull in their understanding need to be converted?

Psa 19:7 The LAW of the LORD is PERFECT, CONVERTING THE SOUL: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Now since we have all this evidence so far, let’s complete the puzzle. Who was blinded and hard of hearing?

Isa 42:20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. 21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will MAGNIFY THE LAW, and make it HONOURABLE. 22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. 23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? 24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. 25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.”

This is what I used, simply using the Word as a Sword, to PROVE first that all the things James was speaking of comes directly from Moses, second, show Messiah did not speak any of His own words and delivered His Father’s Doctrine, and third showed them who it was that was blinded and dull in their hearing. This is how we use the Word as a Sword, simply quote the scriptures to disprove any man-made doctrines or doctrines that man has received from demons by quoting the Word of Truth, the Sword of the Spirit of the living God. What we DO NOT want to do is get into name calling, or backfiring with harsh words with the intention of hurting the person. We want to let the scriptures and the Word of God, the Sword of God, be the only agent that cuts the Hearts of the people and spirits we are fighting against. The Sole intent of using the Word in this way is to bring the person into repentance, if this is an act of hatred, I stand guilty as charged, but as I said in the beginning of this article, it is NOT correcting with the Word that is the true act of hatred.

Lev 19:17  Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18  Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

A Righteous rebuke or correction is an act of MERCY, not hatred. If one does not repent, whether he believes in the Messiah or not, his sins are not forgiven, for the Messiah’s blood does not cover willful sin.

Heb 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28  He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30  For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Joh 3:36  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever DOES NOT OBEY the Son shall not see life, but the WRATH OF GOD remains on him.

2Pe 2:19  They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved. 20  For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcomeTHE LAST STATE HAS BECOME WORSE FOR THEM than the first. 21  For it WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER FOR THEM TO HAVE NOT KNOWN the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the HOLY COMMANDMENT delivered to them. 22  What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”

For them that are out there using the Torah to condemn, instead of using it as a means to correct, rebuke, instruct in righteousness, and lead men into repentance, and argue of things that do not really matter such as the pronunciations of the names, or the genealogies of the Priesthoods, or various other issues, and only are debating to be right, I will say that love is not what is motivating you. We are to be WITNESSES for the Messiah, and His word, that is all. If  person CHOOSES to remain in their ignorance, do not try to condemn them, you never know when YHVH will open their hearts. It is not we who open the Hearts and Minds of men, but YHVH, all we can do is give them a clear choice, but every man has the right to choose for themselves.

For my Brothers out there fighting the good fight, and defending the Truth and Witnessing against the Falsities of this World, I say God Speed and RAK CHAZAK YISRAEL! Be Strong and of a good courage, for it is YHVH Elohim that goes before you. Fear them not that can destroy the body, but fear Him who can destroy both the body and the soul. Continue to put the edge of the Sword of Truth to Satan’s throat and slay every man who attacks the Word of Truth with the Sword of the Spirit. No matter if it be the rich or poor, Pastor or King, Rabbi or Priest, if they attack the Truth, defend it till death. Be Zealous for your Master, but do not sin. Show true love to the World even though the World hates you and our Master. Be BOLD like Elijah who slayed the False Prophets of Ba’al. Be Zealous as the Levites when they stepped over to Moses’ side and slayed every man His Brother, and be fearless as the Messiah when he stepped forward to be delivered to the Cross. Be diligent so that Satan does not allow His schemes to creep into your camps. Be confident and remember the words of Isaiah the Prophet when they try you, and test, you and attack you for preaching the Truth.

Isa 50:4  The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. 5  The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. 6  I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. 7  For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. 8  He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. 9  Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up. 10  Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God. 11  Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

Do not let the accusations get to you, and remember Bretheren, when you are asked for your degrees and your school papers that men want to show themselves approved and ordained to preach, that we are not recommending ourselves as they do.

2Co 3:1  Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you? 2  You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. 3  And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 4  Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. 5  Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, 6  who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

1Co 1:26  For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27  But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28  God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29  so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30  And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31  so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

I would like to thank Obadayah Owen, Jason Price, Richard Casinger, and Bishop Salamat Khokhar for the confirmations and encouragements for me to script this work, and Jamin Taylor for the Graphics Design, and most of all my wife Jennifer for being my support and allowing me the time for study and teaching,Todah Rabbah all of you.

May the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob be with you in all your victories, for the Lambs of YHVH do not loose, even in death, HaShem Yeshua, Amein Amein!

  2. Thanks for the teaching, even when I haven’t discussed this topic with any pastor or theologian yet, now i know the kind of spirit That i should have at the moment when it happens, spirit of love and not of arguing to show who wins the battle or who owns the reason. Shalom.
